ABOUT
Moi! I'm Niina, a Finnish illustrator living in Austria. I create original artwork with soft pastels or fineliners and work on book illustrations. Topics are often related to, but not limited to, nature, or wildlife.
I love Finnish summer, its moderate temperatures and nightless nights. In winter I'm happy, when there's lots of snow. As I grew up in the Finnish Lakeland, it is the lakes, calm beaches and the Finnish sauna that I miss the most in Austria. On the other hand, I enjoy sunny and bright winter days and the mountain landscapes in Austria. I like to go hiking in summer, cross-country skiing in winter and to sauna all year round.
